Le Zoo De Doue

The Zoo de Doue is only 5 minutes' drive from where we were and is perhaps one of Europe's best. It is sited in an old quarry and the enclosures and visiting routs are arranged around previous troglodytic dwellings. There is lots of shade provided by the great trees, palms, bamboo and acacias. From bamboo woods to rain forest, from rivers to canyons, we walked in many different shapes of land. The ever changing tunnels and stairs shaped the whole dwelling.
